Triologue's

The spirit of experimentation, the joy of playing, virtuosity and creativity: these are the constants within which the three musicians of Triologue's develop their own cosmos, drifting through the spheres of jazz, world music and avant-garde, without locating themselves on the musical map. Every concert by this Lübeck-based group promises to be a sizzling, multifaceted melting pot of improvisation and established songs. The three multi-instrumentalists dare to experiment in a constant dialogue with each other, and with their diverse range of instruments - piano, synthesizer, double bass, drum set, berimbao, kalimba, tablas, melodica, lotus flutes and singing bowls - unfold a rich variety of sounds that make up the unique sound of the Lübeck band.

Artificiality is alien to Triologue's music, the boldest rhythmic and harmonic breaks never seem contrived, Latin American grooves meet Indian rhythms, twelve-tone music meets Bill Evan's lyricism and collage technique meets pianistic romanticism.

Triologue was formed in 2006 by Olaf Koep, Ninon Gloger and Alexander Carôt and quickly achieved success as a newcomer:

Triologue won prizes at the Creole World Music Competition 2009 and 2011, the German Rock & Pop Award 2007 (winner in the category: Best Avantgarde Band) and at the 16th Jazz Nachwuchsfestival Leipzig 2007.

Numerous appearances at festivals and venues such as Domicil Dortmund, Kulturforum Kiel, Moritzbastei in Leipzig, Jazzbaltica 2014/16/25 and Avantgarde Festival Schiphorst are proof of Triologue's popularity.

... the furious performance, characterised by technical brilliance and musical adventurousness, left a lasting impression. (Hamburger Abendblatt)
